Meet the Producer / Director
SARAN BYNUM is an award winning Writer, Director, Producer, and the proprietor of
5th Dimension Studioz, LLC, New Orleans, La. Born in Saigon, Vung Tau, Vietnam during the Vietnam War
to an African American War Soldier and a Vietnamese mother, she became one of many children who were flown out of Vietnam during the most memorable and historical event the "Fall of Saigon" At the tender
age of three, Saran was adopted by two beautiful parents who nurtured her love for acting and the arts at an early age. While Saran resided in New York, she worked at Flavor Unit Entertainment under Dana Owens aka "Queen Latifah" and later moved back to her home town New Orleans to establish her own Film Production Company.
Her company is dedicated to producing films, stage plays, documentaries and other forms of story telling geared to inspire and educate the masses. Her short film "Father Forgets" was nominated for best short film by The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards in Los Angeles. She also served as a script supervisor for Nominated film, "V and Me" by The 48 Hour Film Project in New Orleans.
Saran has acted and directed in many short films and stage plays in New Orleans. She is a member of the Women In Film & Television Louisiana. She plans to expand her company nation wide and provide services and jobs to those who inspire to work in the industry young and and old.

We provide acting and production
classes for kids age ranging from 8 to 18 years of age. We also have a mentoring program where our students
can participate in various productions around the city.

Coaching for Adults and Crew
Coaching Classes for Adults held weekly. We provide acting and audition coaching to adults who seek to advance their career in acting or public speaking. We also provide audition techniques and tape auditions for you to submit to your agent.
